The 13.6 inch MacBook Air with M4, 16GB RAM, and 256GB storage stands out as a strong portable Mac option, especially for everyday use and light productivity. The $749 price is often framed as matching Best Buy, with the Amazon credit adding extra value when it appears, and some accounts also unlock cash back or business pricing. The main caveats are the credit can be hard to find, may vary by color or account type, and 256GB fills up quickly. Battery life and the 16GB memory ceiling are the other practical limits, making it a compact but not especially roomy setup.

  • The deal can include a $25 Amazon credit on personal accounts after purchase.

    RedDragon48slickfogulJonL4209

  • The M4 MacBook Air can deliver close to 18 hours of battery life with basic browsing and office apps.

    BrainDoc

  • The 13.6-inch Air option supports portability while still enabling a larger monitor setup when needed.

    FancyGoat7127

  • The deal can be improved further with an Amazon Prime Visa cash back option.

    Liad80

  • The $25 credit can be missing from the cart or not appear after ordering.

    szhkyybugslickymarky

  • The $25 Amazon credit can be non-refundable and may become worthless if an order issue occurs.

    1453191819231991

  • Battery life can be much worse than expected, with reports around four hours in Safari and about two hours with VS Code plus Vivaldi.

    scoobydude

  • The $25 credit availability can vary by color, with Midnight reportedly not including the credit.

It's 749, not 724.
Yeah, misleading by the poster. I'm pretty sure it's a better deal at Best Buy if you have a pro or total membership already since it's the same price of $749 plus a $25 gift card plus $25 in rewards ($5 for every $50 spent on doorbusters).

Thanks for the reply. For screen size alone, do you prefer one over the other?
13.6 for portability. I went for the 13.6 and used the difference to buy a 27 inch monitor for that odd days I needed a large screen.

If you don't mind, what is the link of the monitor you bought? That's a good idea, to use the 13.6" laptop keyboard with a bigger monitor.

It depends, I don't buy stuff from bb, so, it will be hard for me to utilize the rewards. I bought from amazon because there is a 5% cash back by using discover card.

This is an excellent deal even without the $25 credit. If you have Amazon prime visa, it's also another 5% back. Even so, I went with Costco's $750 for the excellent customer support and skipped on apple care.

What are you trying to say? It used to be $519? If so, it's never been that low.

I have MacBook Pro M1 16GB RAM. Sometimes it's not enough for me. Any recommendations to buy Air with 24/32 or keep saving for Pro?

That's a great deal on an excellent machine. Using the Amazon credit card w/ "Amazon Day" shipping for 7% cashback sweetens the pot even more!

They're looking at the price tracker info above. I believe these are the Amazon resale coupons that made this around $500 for used like new a lucky few right before Black Friday.

Best Buy had the PayPal 20% cash back deal going on at the same time bringing the price down to $600.

Yes. Saw this low at $500+ before, but didn't buy it because I was looking for 512GB+ one.

No, you didnt. You never did actually
Promotional credit terms are as follows, "If any of the products or content related to this offer are returned, your refund will equal the amount you paid for the product or content, subject to applicable refund policies."

However, I have received it back. I've needed to return a couple items before that used promotional credit. In those cases I reached out to Amazon customer service and they applied the credit back to my account. I don't abuse the return policy, however.

YMMV, of course. It is safest to use the credit on something you won't return though.
