This monitor was $179.99 without Klarna coupon.

I was strongly considering this monitor, it's a nice 2k monitor for gaming and office work. I'm looking at some other ones, so it's a tough one.

Decent deal. Lots of feedback seems to indicate it's the same as the prior model with less brightness.

Samsung Odyssey G50D has DP 1.2, eww no thank you. You want at least dp 1.4 and hdmi 2 instead 2.1.

So if you don't care about those things than it's a decent monitor.

Why would that matter for that monitor if it's specs don't max out dp 1.2? Is there something that dp1.4 would improve on THAT monitor? From what I can tell there isn't, but I don't know much about the dp standard. It won't benefit from the extra bandwidth, won't benefit from better HDR support b/c that monitor has trash HDR. FPS won't change. I don't understand.

This monitor isn't rated on Rtings (just the older 2724DM), best I see is a discussion on their forum. I got this for Black Friday with the extra rewards bonuses. No major complaints but I'm also using this for work and not gaming. HDR content looked good but again I'm not a pro, contrast feels good.

Also, anyone getting this, try to get the first time account coupon for. 10% off. Seemed to pop up when I opened the Dell site via an incognito browser.

I bought it on black Friday open box like new for $124. It's really a great monitor. Far better than my old 27 inch iMac screen.
