Respect your opinion and would like to offer another without disagreeing with you, but the Pro 2 (never had a chance to try the 3) is one of my absolute favorite controllers. It's compatible with everything, it fits great/perfectly in my hand, the Pro 2 definitely has Hall Effect sticks too. I think the Ultimate 2C is a great controller but I think for people who like the feel of the Nintendo Pro controller (1st), this controller is awesome!

It cannot. I have the Pro 2 in light gray and while it does sync with the latest firmware, it will not wake Switch 2.

Only if you're good with 360. While that is indeed a very nice price, it's a $#!T design [for me, obv 360 fans rejoice].

Also: no back buttons + sealed battery + odd seller doesn't exactly scream "better."

Agree with the AA battery comment. There are not many controllers being offered in the market with AA battery option. This controller is one of the few and will be unfortunately phase out due to Pro 3.

Coming from a PlayStation controller enjoyer, this is the next best thing. Especially for the price. The joysticks are a bit stiff though.

Surprisingly well done controller. It's a good "I just need a cheap controller" controller. Plastic doesn't feel cheap, motion sensor is accurate, Super Nintendo fans will like the d-pad. One thing I wish is that the grips were angled more, the xbox controller was a little more comfortable to me.
