I would hesitate to plug two heavy-duty plugs into one socket...

It's amazing how such a low quality product can get a 4.8 star rating with so many ratings. The reviews exposing this product are buried pretty far back, too.

They may have been improved, which is why the bad reviews are "buried pretty far back" but very few reciently. I use them to be able to plug AC adapters into walls and power strips without taking the adjacent outlets. You can findbad reviews for everything on Amazon with people that either weren't using the thing correctly, or just want to be rude.

I checked and some of the bad/scary reviews are pretty recent (2024, 2025) so I'll pass.

No, I mean they are sorted far back with Amazon's default algorithm. They are not sorted chronologically by default.

Brother, the low quality housing is busting apart on people. People are showing the shoddy work of the internals. People are showing actual fire hazards for a cheap, low quality cord. I don't think these people are being rude. If anything, CyberPower and Amazon are rude for selling this garbage to people. They should be sued.

I actually needed this believe it or not. I have a receiver for my liftmaster garage door opener to turn it into a smart device but the distance from the ceeling plug to the receiver is like 5 inches away.. literally what are the odds?

Yeah I was out as soon as I saw photos of one with the soldered connections. It's possible it was crimped and soldered but my takeaway from review was that it was solder only.

Uh oh, after reading these comments I should probably reconsider my setup. I have this plugged into the garage door opener outlet daisy chained with a second one to power two Govee outdoor lights...

I think if you look at the most critical reviews they either hammered two together, or used them on devices with a higher power draw.

I have several of these at home and at the office. Zero issues after years of use.
