The removable lens hype was sneaky marketing warfare and a manufactured problem - in reality, a nothingburger. DJI killed Insta360 categorically upon arrival, but the latter clawed back with that tiny desperate argument (and paid their "influencer" army to bitch about it loudly).

So I'm not an influencer but I did drop my previous insta360 X2 years ago while visiting Yellowstone. The Crack on my lens convinced me to not buy a replacement because it's a very expensive problem that I was going to repeat. The lens protude so maybe Beginners might not mind but since it's my second camera I'm scared
It's been this same price for at least a week before Black Friday. Anyhow, seems like everybody hates the DJI 360 software, seemingly Ok for MacOS but for PCs it's bad. Some people even developed hacks to edit their video in the Insta360 app. Also, the removable lens thing is huge, considering DJI has pretty much stopped supporting refresh for the U.S. customers.
