I haven't played this one, but really enjoyed Treachery at Tudor Manor.
It is a one-time play, but most escape-type games are.
One word of warning -- We got confused at the end of Treachery at Tudor Manor when we had to determine the killer. Since the game is Clue-branded, I thought maybe this part of the game needed to be played like Clue, eliminating characters by having seen their cards. That is not the case. This aspect of the game is played straight. There are supposed to be clues as the game develops that point to the killer.
I really enjoyed these Clue Escape games. They are a one time playthrough, but I figure $10 for a couple hours of entertainment for a small group of people is a solid deal. Also, you can give them to another friend later, since playing the game isn't destructive or anything.
My family enjoyed the Tudor Mansion game and have another to play this Christmas with the family. While the game can only be played by the same people one time, I repackaged it and gave it away to be played by others. As long as it's put it back the way it came out of the package, it can be passed on and be played again and again.
For this price it's cheaper than many other 1 time activities and it can still be used by others.
True. I played Treachery at Tudor Mansion. 10 bucks is well worth the price of admission for how fun it was. Also, for treachery at Tudor Mansion you don't have to destroy anything so you can gift it to someone else to play or wait until you fogot how it played.
