This Acer Swift Go certified refurb stands out for strong specs at a low price, with the Core Ultra 7 155H, 16GB of LPDDR5 memory, 1TB SSD, and a touch IPS display drawing the most praise. Delivered units have been described as looking brand new, very clean, and light at about 3 pounds, with solid photo friendly screen quality and decent everyday performance. The main drawbacks are the refurb experience itself, including order cancellations, price changes, slow shipping, and spotty customer service. A few units also needed BIOS or SSD setup, and some arrived with issues like ghost touches, loud fans, or a dead battery, so it is best viewed as a strong spec sheet with some risk.
people who are okay taking a chance on a certified-refurb laptop order if it arrives in like-new condition, because one buyer said theirs came "like new," they just had to assign the SSD in BIOS after a "No bootable device" message, and a BIOS update fixed ghost touches.
buyers who care about a photo-friendly IPS screen and want a light, all-metal 14-inch laptop, because commenters said the IPS display was strong for photos and noted the 155H model's battery expectations (around 12 hours) with a very light ~3 lb build.
people who need the order to be honored at the advertised promo price, because multiple commenters reported Acer/eBay canceling orders after charging them (including one timeline where it was canceled the same day) and said the deal was "not a deal now."
buyers who can't tolerate slow or poor support/refund handling, because commenters said refunds/PayPal credit could take days and that customer service was bad after cancellations.
people who expect consistent build quality matching the specs, because one commenter said the internals looked good for the price but the build quality "will not match."
buyers who rely on the battery working immediately out of the box, because at least one unit arrived with a dead battery that wouldn't charge and only ran when plugged in.
