TP-Link - Deco BE3600 (WB 10800) Dual-Band WiFi 7 Mesh System 3-Pack
  • WiFi 7
  • Dual-Band WiFi (Up to 3.6 Gbps)
    • Up to 2882 Mbps on 5GHz + 688 Mbps on 2.4GHz
  • 2× 1 Gb Ethernet Ports per Unit
  • Covers up to 6,500 sq. ft. (3-Pack)
This is slightly different from the recent Amazon deal on BE3600 (BE23) for $178. That one has 2× 2.5G Ports. I don't know why TP Link has to make this so confusing with similar names but different model numbers which are so hard to find in the listing and specs.

Jmo avoid this. Your buying a mesh, at least get one that's triband this is just 2.4&5ghz. Triband also offers a 6ghz band.

Tri bands are also very expensive. Not everyone needs the latest and the best, tech has to offer and a lot of us are still stuck with non-fiber infra that anyways can't provide the best of the speed.

I see them for 2/3 packs for 250 now. Not that much more.

What about adding these to an existing triband system?

If you are hard wiring it does not matter.

Not worth paying double to get a little bit faster speed... this is a great choice for 99% of people, including myself. In for one.. "To see the speed benefit on your phone or laptop, the device itself must support 6GHz. This includes the iPhone 15 Pro and newer, Samsung S21 Ultra and newer, and most high-end laptops from the last 2 years. If your devices don't support it, the 6GHz band will only help the mesh nodes talk to each other."

Incorrect. It's worth the extra $100. Wider range and better flexibility.

you can also add nodes but the thing about mesh is specifically talking to each other such as the SSID changing when another changes. You can always add routers/nodes etc in AP mode to extend a connection they wont talk when system config changes.
