Does the smaller screen bother you? I thought 46mm meant bigger screen than the 44mm, but the classic has the same screen as the 40mm Watch 8.

I only noticed it for a quick second (ha!) when I got it, but no not overall. I also changed the watch face. It's quite a bit faster and the silver casing looks nice.
