Tmobile had a deal with this monitor, $999 about 2 months ago

Returned it because you couldn't split the monitor image horizontally like it was advertised, which was a huge reason to getting it.

Ah dang, does that require two separate inputs? That's how it works on ultrawides.

I have this. You can split the image with 2 different inputs, but unless I'm missing something the side by side doesn't take up the whole monitor. It still ends up being like an ultrawide would be so its not a big deal but it isn't as visually appealing then taking the whole screen. I mostly use picture in picture while working anyways.

This is how they first advertised it (bottom image). Split up top but super ultrawide on bottom. You can't do that, which is a huge turn off. The best you can do is 4x4

No, they completely removed that feature lol It was supposed to allow you to split like this (bottom image) but you can't.. The best you can do is 4x4

Samsung is notorious for false advertising in word play

Grabbed one a few weeks ago for $11something from Samsung after First Responder discount and a random coupon that was in my cart for some reason. (Pricing might still be active for EPP members?)

Absolutely love this thing as a ridiculously large display although I haven't yet had a need to set up multiple inputs.

FYI: 3 x HDMI but only one is 2.1. There is a fourth DP making it total of 4 inputs but only two can hit that high refresh rate.

I can't imagine 55" for a monitor, even curved. I use a 43" 4k monitor on a 30" deep desk and it is massive... it's fine for productivity / media, but to play games on this thing I have to back up a bit. Which means I'm using a gamepad and not KBM which kinda blows for FPS/action stuff. It's just too much up close.

Also, you would need a monster GPU to push this past 100hz/fps @ 4K. Like a 4090 or better, and this thing doesn't do g-sync so not sure how that would play out.

Looks awesome but in reality I have doubts.
