I got to test ride this bike at an electric bike expo last year and it was actually a really good ride and has a mid drive to handle uphills well, but this is the normal sale price it's been pretty much all year

What's your suggestions on a good priced, e-bike & or e-dirt bike? (Also are those the same thing?) I am not super educated but my son as been wanting one for a year now, couldn't afford it for Christmas but still considering getting him one if I can find something I know is well worth it and obviously a great deal.
