I got mine delivered today and honestly I wasn't able to pull a single good shot in like I shots. The extraction is always way too slow no matter what grind size I have it in. Not sure if I have a dud or what but it is taking significantly more dialing in than any other machine I've had before. I was hoping to have this replace my Phillips 3200 but at the rate that'll be back on the counter soon

I've had the Philips 3200 since Summer of 2022 (so 3.5 years) now but I was never satisfied with it. It was like the espresso was never strong enough no matter what beans I bought and that one was dialed down to the lowest setting of 1 for the grinder and I still don't think the grind is fine enough. Then I realized that all those Phillips only ground like 7-9 grams per puck whereas the Delonghi could do up to 15 grams per puck (BIG difference) and that's why I also switched to the Magnifica Plus when they had the crazy 20% off and 20% cashback deal.

What grind size did you have it on?
If you bought from Costco as per this deal, I would just return it...maybe it was a dud. Costco is easy as heck to return if you're not satisfied with the product.

Sounds like you have a dud. We have these at work and they don't disappoint. 100+ cups per day

Be warned the Costco model doesn't come with the "Long" coffee option. I returned it for that reason and got an even better deal on one during BF through another retailer. The "Long" coffee option does a larger volume coffee, and actually grinds beans two times then pulses water (kind of like drip). I'm satisfied with espresso from this machine, but the "Coffee" option just tastes burnt and I find Americano is too watered down. So if you like a larger coffee in the morning, I recommend this machine from another retailer so you get the "Long" option.
