For $13, I'll "bite." Here is my spoiler-free experience on "The Walking Dead" TV series:

Seasons 1 and 2 are the best in the series. Great pacing + excellent script. The acting was top-notch!!!
Season 3 is very good, not great.
Season 4 is when things start to fade, and you start hating some of the characters and where they're going.
Season 5-6 are when you start questioning yourself, if you should continue watching.
Season 7, episode 1 - most violent and brutal episode. Brace yourself! The season is a love/hate.
Season 8-10 "Why am I still watching this horrible series?"
Season 11 - "I might as well finish this awful series, because I'm a glutton for punishment."

If you don't have access to an iOS device and you have the updated iTunes Windows that doesn't show TV/Movies. Another option is if you have an xbox with the app on it you can click the link above and add the show to your watchlist. Then go to your apple tv app on xbox and it will be right at the front ready for purchase if you click it. The other Apple TV apps I have on my PC and Android devices wouldn't allow it.

Great price. Thanks for posting OP. Yeah the later seasons disappointed but who cares this series was a cultural phenomenon during the first 5,6 seasons garnering 15+ Million LIVE tv viewers and a lot more when you factor in DVR and streaming. A lot of us have memories of waiting for the Sunday's episode to watch live along with friends, coworkers, family and then discuss, hypothesize later. TWD along with GoT represent the end of the big event TV. That alone gives this a culturally significant place in my book. As a society, we don't have any shared experiences anymore other than sports.
Interesting side note: The Walking Dead used to get 50-60% more live viewers than Game of Thrones but to be fair, Game of Thrones was on HBO which is premium pay tv. Its funny how these two behemoths both had anti climactic endings with one (TWD) having slow drawn out decline and the other (GoT) with sudden vomit inducing end.

The Walking Dead complete series is a cheap way to grab all 11 seasons, with the strongest value coming from the early run and the full set at about $1 per season. The first two to three seasons are described as the best, with strong pacing, solid scripts, and the show's big cultural impact still standing out. Later seasons are widely framed as a slow decline, with soap opera style plotting, weaker rewatch value, and a finale that did not land well. At $12.99, it remains a lot of zombie TV for the money.

Common Questions (3)

  • Yes for many shoppers, because the set includes all 11 seasons at about $1 per season and is described as an exceptional value at $13. The main caveat is that the show is widely described as strongest in seasons 1-3 and increasingly weaker afterward.

  • Yes, this listing is being considered specifically because it includes the final season. A prior Xbox purchase for $25 reportedly did not include Season 11, so this deal is notable for having the full series.

    rly723

  • One workaround is to use Xbox: add the show to your watchlist from the link, then open the Apple TV app on Xbox and purchase it there. The PC and Android Apple TV apps reportedly did not allow the purchase, and updated Windows iTunes did not show TV/Movies.

To be fair, it's a really hard genre to have any satisfying ending with.

You could end with the likely outcome of all the main characters getting bit, but what fun would that be?

I would hope most of society would respond better than this group of rejects, but who knows.

I bought this through Xbox in march 2025 for $25 but it was missing season 11. I wonder if it's worth rebuying just for final season included

garbage series after the first few seasons. trash. not worth a penny
Why would you even waste your time or breath posting on this thread if the series is so bad for you. If you don't like it move along but please stop acting like you're a show critic and that others have to value your opinion. It's a trash opinion that's not worth a penny...

The first few seasons were pretty amazing, so they set a pretty high bar for themselves.

I think I'm gonna rewatch the whole thing as a social/political allegory about factions.

Coral! Coral! Hershel won a farming award, Coral! He was outstanding in his field.

This is when I stopped watching. That was enough.

First about your post. Your going to have people that will not let go of the old life, they will not survive long trying to hoard cash and gold.

Most people are sheep and will get behind anything that will tell them they are safe.

Who will become powerful? Well, no more background checks or much of the way of society judgment (you know what you did to live this long, so who are you to judge). "Doing what it takes" is a slippery slope. We all want to say we will be Rick. We're not charismatic enough to be the governor.

More than likely we're going to be following some prepper that thinks he can get more by having followers.

okay now about the series. the first seasons are absolutely amazing. I've even watched it a second time, is it worth the money most likely yes
