No idea, but if the pea protein is chickpeas then you shouldn't notice any difference. Chickpeas/garbanzos are pretty bland by themselves.

* possibly yellow split peas

Peanuts itself is high in protein, why bother.
Those who mainly takes plant base protein need to consider L-Lysine supplement instead of increasing the protein amount.
Without L-Lysine, most plant based proteins have low amino acid score, meaning it will be wasted.

High in protein. I love when people say that. I don't know where 6 grams of protein at about 200 calories per 30 grams weight is a lot. If you're trying to hit protein goals you definitely aren't eating peanut butter.

This stuff isn't great either 10 grams. Basically a gimmick.

I would say eating only plant based protein isn't enough unless you eat a lot of tofu or something.
I eat peanuts or foods high in plant based protein only for pleasure. never rely on them.

If you really want protein from peanut butter, just eat PB2 or PBfit.

Normally I'm here hating on this brand as their cheap bottles are actually 'peanut spread' with a ton of artificial ingredients, but this particular ingredient list is surprisingly clean aside from the "seed oils". But relative to the cheaper peanut butters available, this seems like a decent option at $2 bottle. I generally get 2.50 bottles at trader joes & those have only 1 ingredient: peanuts

The price may be nice, but of the 3 oils in, all 3 are part of the hateful 8. I feel there's a reason for the price. If this were just a natural peanut butter, this would be loaded with thumbs up. That means something.

Lead warning on plant-based protein: read Consumer Reports' testing of protein powder published earlier this year. Many (all?) of the plant-based powders had significantly higher levels of lead.

The ingredient they're using here is pea protein. Consumed in moderation I'm sure it is fine, but especially for kids or people who eat a lot of PB - like a 12-pack buyer! - may want to treat peanut butter like the fat that it is and get protein elsewhere. It's pretty widely known in the food industry now that "PROTEIN" is a health halo that consumers pay more for, so we're going to start seeing a lot more of it everywhere.
