Community Reviews

This open-box OmniBook X Flip stands out as a strong value for its Ryzen AI 7 350, 24GB of RAM, 1TB SSD, and 14 inch touch display. The 400 nit screen and solid build quality get positive callouts, and the price drop into the mid 300s makes the configuration feel unusually cheap. The keyboard draws the main criticism, with some calling it mediocre or crappy, though others find it comfortable for everyday typing. Open-box condition is the other risk, since packaging and screen damage can vary, making it a good fit if the specs matter more than perfect condition.

  • Students and office workers who type mostly on an external keyboard, because the built-in keyboard can feel crappy while the rest of the configuration is strong.

    dlinders10skid007

  • Laptop upgraders needing lots of memory and storage, because 24GB RAM and 1TB SSD make this a strong value at the price.

    PurpleLadybug2581OrangeJulius

  • People wanting a bright 14-inch convertible for everyday tasks, because the display is listed at 400 nits and the keyboard is comfortable for non-gaming use.

    PurpleLadybug2581pmperry

  • Shoppers comfortable with open-box buys, because these units can arrive in excellent condition and still deliver solid build quality.

    ParasPOrangeJulius

  • People expecting a pristine shipped open-box unit, because some arrivals have come loose in oversized packaging with bright screen spots or dead pixels.

    c_delOrangeJuliusc_del

  • Buyers who need a laptop with a great built-in keyboard, because the keyboard can feel crappy and HP chiclet boards are not as good as ThinkPad keyboards.

    dlinders10skid007

  • Gamers who want a fast-refresh screen, because the panel only offers 40Hz and 60Hz refresh options.

    superslickz

  • Shoppers who want a new-condition laptop at a much higher price point, because this deal is not a great buy at $670+ compared with other options.

I am considering for the price; if you can please elaborate what you mean crappy keyboard please?
My wife has a 16" laptop in this line and honestly I enjoy typing on the keyboard, it's not a gaming keyboard, but for everyday tasks it is comfortable.

Were you getting those for BF6? Not sure why 60Hz is an issue when most people work at that refresh rate for 40 hours a week.

Thanks OP. Christmas shopping is done. Went to bed last night and it was $550. Woke up and it was $340 and all of them near me were gone. Checked an hour later and they had an excellent one they could ship.
