This open-box OmniBook X Flip stands out as a strong value for its Ryzen AI 7 350, 24GB of RAM, 1TB SSD, and 14 inch touch display. The 400 nit screen and solid build quality get positive callouts, and the price drop into the mid 300s makes the configuration feel unusually cheap. The keyboard draws the main criticism, with some calling it mediocre or crappy, though others find it comfortable for everyday typing. Open-box condition is the other risk, since packaging and screen damage can vary, making it a good fit if the specs matter more than perfect condition.
Common Questions (4)
Best Buy open-box units are often near-new, even when labeled Good or Fair, but condition is not guaranteed. Some units arrive excellent and work fine, while others can have shipping damage or screen defects, so inspection and the return window matter.
The keyboard is usable for everyday work, but it is not a standout feature and is described as crappy by some. An external Logitech keyboard is an easy workaround if you want a better typing experience.
Yes, the $339.99 open-box price is unusually strong for this configuration. It pairs 24GB LPDDR5 RAM, a 1TB SSD, and a Ryzen AI 7 350 with a 14-inch FHD+ touch display, making it a high-spec buy for the money.
The specs page lists the panel at 400 nits, which is above average for a 14-inch convertible. That brightness should help with indoor use and some brighter environments.

there is no way an excellent condition laptop with this config and 30 days return window (jan 15 is return window for holiday time) elsewhere.
In my experience, not only this, but other HP laptop keyboards are not great as thinkpad. but i never had an issue, as i use a external logitech full size keyboard. its not only avoid using HP keyboard, but also faster/efficient at work to use an external keyboard.

this is NOT a great laptop if you wish to buy a new condition at $670+ price. at this price range yes, you can consider Yoga 7 or 7i etc.. (with bit additional $).
but at this price below $400, You can research that do you need THIS or no?
