This Walgreens deal is 4.8 cents per foot.

This is comparable to the price of brand name Reynolds while it's not on sale in warehouse clubs (prices fluctuate slightly based on location). But Reynolds IS on sale at BJ's.
Also, if you have room, the huge 1000 foot rolls are cheaper.

BJ's
Costco (check in Costco app)
Sam's Club

Ridiculous comparison on 500ft to 100 ft, of course a volume quantity like that is cheaper.

There are many single people or couples that don't cook much, don't use much Foil and your example is probably 3 years worth or more for some. Not to mention, storage in an apartment is limited. That's great if you need 500 feet AND want to spend the money to join a warehouse club, but sometimes a smaller quantity at the same price is actually a much better and practical deal for at least half the people clicking on this thread in possible interest to purchase.

I agree that some people may only need a small quantity for occasional use. I was only providing comparison for those who have warehouse club memberships and regularly buy the larger rolls, so they know they don't need to jump on this deal for smaller rolls.

For the 1000 feet, I did state "if you have room".
For the 2x250 feet, from what I remember, the 250 rolls are about the same size as the 100 rolls so it shouldn't be that difficult in terms of taking up space in the pantry.

Fair enough, but I would hope most consumers are savvy enough to know that expecting 100ft of Alum. Foil to be cheaper than 500-1000ft quantities is a folly. No different with any paper goods like toilet paper or paper towels. I'm not sure the effort you put into the comparison is best suited to a post like this. It's good info but probably more useful had this been a post for 250-500ft of wags or another generic brand of foil.

Some foil is thicker or thinner and does the width dimension change from different brands?
