Solid value. Nice add to a home made stew. And, with winter approaching, now I am tempted to make a stew.
Before work, add one can of this.
Add some pre-cut "beef for stew".
Add some beef or vegetable broth.
Add some diced potatoes. I prefer the baby ones. Super easy to cut into quadrants.
Add a bag of the pre-cut, pre-cooked vegetables. If you have the time and money, go wild. Dice some mushrooms, crush some garlic, heirloom tomatoes are amazing.
Add some seasoning of choice. I am a Vegeta fan, given Eastern European ties. But a bit of salt and pepper to taste is chef's kiss.
Cook in a slow cooker for 4 hours on high or 8 hours on low.
Serve with a grocery bakery dutch crunch or french loaf.
And look at you! Classic family/date night dinner that you didn't mess up that feeds 4 for less than your "two for twenty" deal.
