Instinct 3 has a better contrast screen since they removed the transparent solar layer and more efficient solar.

Double tapping the light button on mine turns the screen into a flashlight, it's not gonna illuminate a run but keeps me from bumping into stuff at night.

Yeahhh as long as the instinct 3 solar is $300, this doesn't make sense imo. Is saving $50 worth it for an older battery, less efficient solar, subpar flashlight, and zero remaining years of official software updates and support?
Now if the 3 solar went back to $400, then maybe.
