As the title says, looks like a pretty good deal on an Osaki 3D Chair

"List price" is definitely meaningless, given the deals we see on SD

https://osakimassagechair.com/pro...1957739828

Use code BLACKFRIYAY (with a Y) to get the price to $1,299

Note, these are VERY heavy - if you need to deliver it other than the same floor, I would highly recommend a "white glove" delivery (covers 1 flight of stairs) - speaking from experience, wel worth it. White glove includes unboxing and setup.

Features:
  • 3D Massage Mechanism
  • SL-Track
  • Deep Calf Kneading
  • Computerized Body Scanning
  • 9 Auto Programs & 5 Massage Styles
  • 2 Stage Zero Gravity
  • Space Saving Technology
  • Lumbar and Foot Heating
  • Automatic Extendable Footrest
  • Surround Sound Bluetooth Speakers
I have a VERY similar version of this chair - slightly different color/remote storage, and I use it almost daily.

If you have been following massage chairs, many of them differ in very minor nuances, what you want to focus on 2D, 3D and 4D and making sure you have a healthy mix of "auto" and "manual" programs. And of course, the price.

What's your take on - since you own one - the fake leather material? I've had faux leather recliners and they peel. $1300 for something that will start to peel in 5 years seems wasteful. Your thoughts on having owned

I am just about 1.5 years in, and I use it almost daily (play lots of tennis, and it's my recovery, 30-45 minutes per day of massage) and I am not noticing any deterioration whatsoever.

This is no indication on what would happen in 5 years, of course, but so far it held up very well.

I bought the 4D Vera recently from Costco for 3300 including taxes. At 1300 this feels tempting. Is the Vera worth 2000 bucks more compared to this one?

I bought the Alpina 3D modal for $2000 about 4.5 years ago. Didn't peel at all which is what I'm surprised at. But the stitching connection part between seat and back left a gap. I think that's where it's taken more pressure at.I had issues with their warranty. They said they couldn't find a tech to fix a leaking air bag and send me a part and instruction asking me to fix myself. It was during Covid so idk if this is an edge case.
