Nice deal if you have the Homebase 2 or 3, which is necessary for it to work. I have 2 in use with a Homebase 3 with no issues. Video clips stored on the homebase. Hardwire option to existing wiring to keep battery charged. Dual cam is nice and it does a good job of spotting package deliveries. It also wires in to my existing "vintage" (1994) doorbell chime.

it was something about this model that made me go with the e340 and I could have sworn I had to do with the home base. I wasn't at this model or oh no no you know what I think it was a wired version I think the wired version I couldn't use home base
I have an entire eufy system, home base, outdoor, indoor, doorbell cams. Alot of false positives for "human spotted", the AI it claims to use is not that great. And play back and love camera is slower than your ring or Google options ( but no subscription which is why I chose it ). Overall enjoy the functionality of the ecosystem

Agreed, we have a hybrid Eufy + UniFi system at home, choosing them over our old Google whole home system. I'll add, if you're willing to put the time in (digitally fence off areas, customize [or turn off] AI, etc.) on the settings after setup, it's a worthwhile solution that has a buy-once-sorta-cry-once upside.

Donate those false positive videos to Eufy and hopefully it'll improve AI over long term ownership.

What security system camera wise and doorbell wise do you prefer Unifi Or Eufy? We have security with Eufy currently and the house entirely networked with UniFi with APs everywhere. I have been thinking about trying out the Unifi cameras instead of increasing our Eufy system but would like your input on the Unifi cameras. I feel like Eufy alert and the display for Eufy has a large delay but that's comparing it to Vivint system which is pretty instant. That's what we have for our doorbell with Vivints panel.

I haven't chosen, but feel like there was also a reason I haven't purchased this model. I can't recall why. It shows "wired"...but I think it's actually "wired to slowly charge a battery?". And, if I recall, it doesn't do 24x7 recording as many other "wired" doorbells do?

We went with the Ubiquiti UniFi Protect G4. The problem with our >100yr old house is the ability to wire POE/C5, or else I think I'd have gone completely UniFi. UDM Pro has great NVR capabilities.

So what I understand is there are 2 versions for the s330. Battery and wired.
The new one e340 is combined. It can be battery or hardwired. And that one is the trickle charge. I don't think the s330 does the trickle charge like you're thinking

No, Video Doorbell (Wired) S330 only connects to Chime.
