One question where such hidden codes identified ? Saves money
I bought a "Chinese" heat-related item (last year) and was notified by Amazon (this year) about a recall for it and refunded me the money. So, I don't know where you get the notion that you ain't gonna get any recall notices.
Meanwhile US companies usually manage their own recalls.
