I believe the lowest price I saw for this particular model was around $1,500. Let us know what you think of it—its main drawback, in my opinion, is the battery life.

Looks like a great deal, but just FYI its equal to a 3080 desktop graphics card in terms of real world performance +- 1-2% in some games. Been holding onto my 3080 FTW now, and still deciding do I build another desktop like I do every 4-5 years or do go the easy route and get a laptop.... I will see what the next generation AMD brings in terms of laptop graphics since Nvidia is playing too many games!

Besides the batter power (also due to the screen being stuck at 240hz), the other complaint has been the lack of power for the gpu (max 115w vs. 140w+ )which then doesn't work to its potential. This issue is supposedly only on the S version (16s). I am torn because otherwise the specs are amazing for the price...

Wow what a good deal. Even if it's slightly underpowered relative to other 5070 tis, it has the 12gb of vram and should still outperform the full powered 5070

I bought it and will definitely be returning it. The screen and keyboard are nice. But the chasis gets way too hot and the fans are super annoying. I already had other laptop with oled screen so I'm not gonna miss it that much.
