I ordered the DJI Neo 2 Fly More Combo With RC-N3 Remote Controller, Stable Transmission With Digital Transceiver, 4K Drone for Beginners, 3 Batteries for $429 from Amazon - Air Foto seller yesterday after watching a few reviews. Looks like seller: Air Foto is no longer listed, probably sold out. It will be a late Xmas gift for my kids.

I have 2 of the Neo 1 and it's a really fun toy, with the emphasis on toy. By itself, it's limited on control and the battery life is less than ideal (sub 15 min, usually around 12 if you're maneuvering it a lot). I find myself using it for the programed flying, like boomerang, follow, and rocket, rather than using it to explore. Temper your expectation accordingly. Also, it's very loud.

Correct. there is still the rest of the world to consider.
And DJI is already stop selling drones to the US.

All other sellers are still selling DJI drones in the US and they will likely continue to do so after Jan 1st.

So many people getting hung up on the different between "selling in" and "selling to" and they think DJI is only company selling DJI drones. Other merchants sells DJI drones and DJI has no control over what other merchants do.
