I have K95 with the same switches and I have to warn you that if you plan to use this for typing, speed switches register VERY light touch. It will cause a lot of typos, unless you are super precise.

All the good versions of this are out of stock. No Blue, Brown, or Red.

These keys are not sold out because they are junk.

After seeing a lot of bad reviews on corsair k70 I went with asus rog strix scope for $99 on Amazon

I bought this a while back. You are going to be using the backspace more than any other key on that keyboard. Breath too heavily and you're going to have a misspelling for whatever you're typing.

I'm still using my decade old K70 (reds) and it's been rock solid. I'm not familiar with Cherry MX RGB, but I don't do that fancy rgb lighting thing on my computer - in fact, for the stuff that does have it (like my video card), I shut it off entirely.

I had the same issue with a different brand of keyboard. Perhaps the corsair tool allows you to adjust the sensitivity of the key press? I noticed mine was set to the highest sensitivity out of the box. Dropped it a few notches and now it wont register keys unless I am deliberately pressing them

Unless you have an All-Corsair setup, this isn't worth it. Not only is it wired-only, but there isn't any standout feature like on other brands. No fancy lubed switches, no unique color scheme, and no actual gaming switches.

Just about anything else would be a better pick depending on what you want. Two routes right now, custom mechanical or laser-focused gaming boards. The custom-style mechanical boards come with regular switches but either have tri-mode connectivity, a full CNC aluminum chassis, a better sound profile, etc. Gaming keyboards have Hall Effect / TMR which give a competitive advantage in fps games due to customizable actuation points and switch reset point. Certain ones have analog properties that can mimic the depth of a trigger (ex: more force = more speed in a racing game).

I think this would have been a great deal 5 years ago before the rapid decrease in custom-style keyboard pricing and the adoption of new types of switches.

Why? When the Lemokey P1 HE is $135 and the Sam's Club K2 HE bundle is $85

I had the K70 low profile, and it was a horrible experience for me. I just threw mine in the trash about a month ago. The paint on the keys wore off in just a few months on frequently used letters. Also, double-typing was awful. It was manageable by slowing down the polling rate, but then I got a work laptop that I couldn't change the system settings on, so I was back to double typing, hence getting chucked in the garbage. This thing wasn't even worth donating to a nephew for gamer builds. Absolute trash.

at the MSRP of $160 that is robbery, even at $80 this is way overpriced for the features, and too bad they arent hot swapable switches, remove the Corsair branding and its just another $30-$40 keyboard. Some $40 keyboards have more features and swappable switches. you are paying for the brand on this one.

"Why spend $85 when you can spend $65 more for a better keyboard?"
That's some used car salesman logic right there.
