The Xbox Wireless Controller is a straightforward pick for anyone wanting a standard Xbox pad at a sharp sale price, with white and black versions at $38 and other colors still showing around $42. Lenovo Rewards can cut the out of pocket cost a lot, with some orders dropping into the low 30s or even much lower after points and promo credits. The controller is also described as having built in protection against stick drift, though that claim is disputed and the warranty is only one year. Lenovo ordering itself has been hit by cancellations and payment authorization problems, so the deal is strongest if checkout goes smoothly.
Common Questions (4)
A new Lenovo account can earn rewards on the purchase, with one reported checkout at $23 plus tax generating $15 in rewards. The rewards can reduce the effective cost substantially, but tax still has to be paid out of pocket.
Lenovo orders can be auto-canceled or fail payment authorization even when the card is valid, and one replacement order came back at $42.90 instead of $42.00. Rewards were re-applied on the replacement, but the process can add delay and extra hassle.
Open the Legion Gaming Community or Creator Community, log in, then go to My Lenovo Rewards at the bottom. The How to Earn Points section shows the actions that can earn additional reward money.
The Pulse Red, Velocity Green, Shock Blue, and Deep Pink variants were reported at $42 while the white and black versions were $38. Using Lenovo rewards can bring the colored models down to about $30 effective cost.

Chat said it was auto canceled by the system but had no reason, sales phone support said the same thing.
They were able to re-place my order, but it was a base of $42.90 instead of $42.00 flat. Either way they also re-applied the $12 in rewards so my order ended up being about $0.97 more than originally @ $34.12
Reasons given:
Website orders are being canceled (the last order was from Sales Directly)
Not authorized (payment was on my credit card twice, which I use every single day)
I'm so sick of Lenovo and will never order another product from Lenovo.com, even if I can get it for free. Their sheer inability to get a credit card payment authorized is obscene. I'm not using some small town bank or credit union, I'm using a major bank with a VISA card. No other company in the decades long history of using this card has had this problem.
Worst of all they blamed the cancellation on my own bank / credit card for 3 weeks mean while I has around $1000 in orders in other websites, including Amazon, during that timeframe. fark LENOVO.
