Second post on this today. Not sure which is first. But consensus in the other thread is they hit $35 multiple times. While solid, you can get TB3 hubs for $20 used and they do the same (TB4 only adds boot from keyboard, and universal support for AMD USB4 PCs). $70 is too high for me.

This one have one advantage compared to most other docks, it comes with a 2.5GbE port.

$70 is too much though, considering it's been $35.

Right. A 2.5 GbE adapter is $15 on a deal. $20 used TB3 dock + $15 2.5 GbE = $35.

USB Ethernet requires more CPU cycles. AVB for one doesn't work with USB. If you want fast realtime networking this does matter.
