I think this is important to repeat.

You don't need the "transceiver" to fly the Neo 2 using your phone but if one day you want to use one of the remotes and the googles, you need to buy that those equipments PLUS you will need one small piece called a "transceiver" that attaches to the back of the Neo 2 and is sold separately if you buy this package (other more expensive Neo2 packages include the transceiver inside the box).

The transceiver is not easy to find and when you do manage to find an authentic one (not a fake), they're pretty expensive avg $75.

You can fly with your phone, but not too far, up to 500 meters (officially, IRL maybe 200-300m in the open). Neo 2 can also fly independently in auto shot modes and be controlled by gestures.

That's the problem with these drones from Amazon, you never know for sure when they will ship. Not only the ones from the sellers but also the ones shipped from Amazon. Hit or miss. I don't think the shipments are trying to hit the Dec 23 because it's likely they can still ship after that date. I have an order placed on Dec 6 that tells me I should expect it on Feb 1.

Ditto ..drone is fun but transceiver for goggles is $70 on fleabay. ..not sure if those are real though.
Still .. v2 Neo is much better than v1. Hope we get v3...

The fly more combo including the remote 2x batteries and transceiver is also on sale at $429. It is a better deal.

Fpv combo is also on sale at $599. But if this your first Drone, then you need practice using controller before fly with FPV.

In/out of stock frequently -- so refresh your page.

I have one. You can fly without any phone or controller, as it supports gestures, has a small display, and has buttons. You can also fly with a phone.

It also supports goggles and FPV controller (v3)
