Warning, the Klipsch Reference and Reference Premiere models have a significant delta in quality. I 100% regret these, they simply don't get low enough for effects - not that you need your Atmos speakers slamming down to teeth rattling levels, but these start to roll off in mid-bass frequencies that are audible. The 4" woofers aren't enough.
I would strongly encourage saving your money and paying up for the "RP" models - ex the RP-500SA II.

I would just get the reference premier version at crutchfield for 300 dollars, I did, and they are on my wall, opposed to sitting on my fronts

They retail for $469 for a pair. What you're seeing is a clearance price of $150. Checking the other retailers I see they're all either out of stock or have a higher price. Please do share where we can get a better deal.

Did you get the RP-500SA or RP-500SA II ? I wonder how big of a difference between the first and 2nd gen version.

RP series is where it's at. The sweet spot of affordability and quality sound. I love my RP series and use it daily.

Cancelled my Amazon order and ordered off eBay (same reputable seller: BeachCamera) for $143.39 out the door using Klarna coupon
