I got one of these from menards for $12, it uses usb c for charging. sale good through 12/31. it's probably comparable in performance, it can rip through thicker mil cardboard, but it's not as effortless to use without a good technique.

Which one are you posting about ? The zipsnip has a proprietary charger.

Purchase this cutter from Best Buy about 6 months ago for same sale price. Very happy with it and as the previous commenter mentioned, once you find the technique, it works well. I also own the Skil 12v unit that was rated #1 on Project Farms testing. The Skil I obtained after the Worx because it was out of stock everywhere for awhile. The Skil is heavier and I struggle to get the correct technique as the safety switch above the on trigger is not comfortable to me.

I got this last time it was on sale, and it has been very helpful to me in breaking down cardboard boxes, even when they are fairly thick; I note that the cutter does struggle on board that has a waffle core as the board is too thick for the feeder, but otherwise it is quite capable. Definitely worth the money spent.

Bought this a few weeks ago and it does get the job done as long as you don't layer things. Does help with the clean up of the Amazon ordering addiction.

It's branded tool shop. Not sure if it's a clone or made in the same factory, or have the same performance. The body molding does look similar.

I have had this for about 2 years...very handy. Only problem is the dumb outdated plug in cord...so easy to lose.

I bought this when it was on sale last time. It works ok, but not as good as my older Skil version. I lost the cord to the Skil a few years so have no way to charge it.

I've had the Harbor Freight version (Warrior) for about 6 months now and love it. At first, it seemed to struggle through even light cardboard, requiring more effort than using a utility knife, albeit safer. Once I got the technique down, slight tilt to the left when cutting cardboard, it's almost effortless now.
