Love Nintendo but they deserve the low sales because of how much they decided to charge for these Switch 2 games. They need to lower it back down to previous levels.
I agree but I also hate the new way they are doing the game cards. Now they are virtual cards with more limitations than before. Plus some game cards are now just digital unlock keys. You still have to download the game. Which will no longer be playable after a certain amount of time in the way the wii U and 3ds estore is now gone. So ive been trying to buy up as many physical games as possible for the Switch. All games that seem interesting to play and are discounted of course, it is SD after all.

I'm glad that it failed. That means they eventually lower the price to meet consumer's demand
But this probably also means the economy is going in the toilet since it was the worst November for video game hardware sales in the US in 20 years by dollars spent, and the worst in 30 years by units sold (not necessarily just for Nintendo), congratulations you have cheaper games but no income to buy them Frown

This is a really good deal. Well besides the extra taxes in some states. We purchased two this holiday season and both using gift cards. One with Sam's and one with Costco.

I can't believe that BB will price match Micro Center but not GameStop. I don't even know what Micro Center is.

Maybe. Maybe not. Nobody has a Time Machine lol. Too early to see trends right now. Don't matter on size of income. Slickdealers always find way to get by. Not like every single of you is making below minimum wage lol

25+ in stock at my local Micro Center in VA. If this was the Mario Kart bundle I'd bite but I'm mostly just talking myself out of it because I don't need it.

I don't mind the increase in prices for the games. They've been fairly cheap compared to how expensive they were back in the day (especially adjusted for inflation).
My issue is this half step of a console. Yeah it's faster, but why is the screen worse than the OLED version? That should have been a no brainer.

Lul. This is also just ignoring their record launch sales numbers with switch 2. People living in an alternate universe
I know it's anecdotal but I don't know a single regular person that has a Switch that's bought a Switch 2 yet. And I've only seen 1 kid ever playing one in the wild.

The mario kart bundle was $400 on black friday with costco gift cards. Not a bad deal but that was definitely better.

It's the fastest selling console launch of all time, there's no failure here.

You're focusing on Nintendo when the point is that the economy as a whole is showing tons of signs that it's absolute shit. One of these is fanboy console war bullshit and the other is a massive farking problem that will affect tens of millions of people.

And 5 family friends do. It might not be as prevalent as it once was. But people are also struggling so sales across the gaming world are down in general. Sure by the end of switch 1 everyone owned one. But that's almost like a decade

Virtual cards are only for digital purchases, and really only come into play when sharing one game across multiple consoles.
Everything purchased on WiiU and 3DS eShops, and even the Wii eShop, can still be redownloaded to this day.
Game Key Cards, which to be clear are only some games not all of them, exist because Nintendo is attempting to save some semblance of physical media. Without them, most releases would just be digital only. They're code-in-a-box but better.
