Any comment on this? Just wondering, so if I have a way to wear it as a backpack, can I plug in my mower so I can mow anywhere without worrying about the cable? yeah I should buy a coreless one but I find these more powerful and I already bought one, and I'm not buying the battery just for the mower, just thinking it's one of my uses.

i don't even know if it can handle the power draw from a mower. But this thing is 30lbs and you want to carry it around. SMH...

A good workout no? I'm a videographer and I carry a 50lb+ backpack full of gears running around all day. It says 2600w, most mowers are 1800w peak?

This was posted around BF for $339 by the same person, and I asked if this "retailer" is an authorized dealer for warranty purpose. Never heard back.
Fly Image Tech they are not on the DJI dealer list that I can find, Important if you want DJI's extended 5yr warranty.

Solid product, however, seems the complaints are about needing to buy dongles. For example, to connect to the app to monitor battery or do firmware updates, you need the WIFI module. For solar power, another adapter.

It's such a cheap feature to give away for an expensive item lol
Even a $5 toy camera has WiFi nowadays.

The V2 has the wifi built in for the app. Buy you do need them for 12v and solar. More concerning as I said earlier is the dealer?????

Seems very scammy, all recent reviews are of people not getting their package.

I bought one of these in Feb 25 and so far have not had an issue. I am currently using this for a ups instead of letting it sit doing nothing, in between trips. Seems well build and heavy on the old back.

Also noticed that if you let it sit for a month or so, it lost 15% of its charge.

Please verify if that is actually one of its battery-preservation features. If you actually are not giving this any AC load (In UPS mode with no outages, just feedthrough), then the DJI firmware might consider that the unit is in storage/unused, so that it auto-self-discharges to storage levels (LifePO4 dont last as long being stored above 70% charged).

Firmware updates (for non-V2 with no dongle, can be done via the left USB-C port) v01.00.09.00 and later allows the user to even set these charge/discharge limits and manage other energy/health settings.

Basically, it allows for the tradeoff of battery health (store/standby at 60% charge) vs. how long (rural) outages might last or the types/criticality of your AC loads (keep at 95% for those JIC times).

Make sure that once AC power is restored, it's either in Super-Recharging mode (1800W!) and you have a beefy 12 or 14 GA power cord (50' or 25' lenghts) ... or for battery life, can go down to 600W. I think there's even more granularity in the full config menu.

The cool thing is the V2 has the WiFi/BT connectivity integrated into the unit, so no need for the <3W dongle to hog up the 1800W+ capable SDC port.

> ... and heavy on the old back

For the very-premium price of $998 (OOS $798 sale!), there's a hand truck thrown into a combo with an Expansion Battery 2000. The hand truck can hold 2x expansion along with power unit. To test the sag on the suspension springs, the user still has to lug it over / into the rear hatch.

Can use the left 140W USB-C port for wired firmware updates (via DJI Assistant 2 for _Power series, Windows and not-older Macs).

With this V2 version having the wireless connectivity integrated into the unit, the 3W dongle no longer is needed to hog the 1800W+ _bi-directional 9-28V or 32-58.4V DC SDC ports.

Yes, a cigarette lighter receptacle should be integrated, but external adapters put less stress on internal ventilation and can upgrade the hardware of the MPPT when better power-extraction algorithms need updates to its circuitry. Their 1.8KW solar / vehicle / battery-bank bi-directional charger is a big upgrade to the original 1KW adapter, as an example.

Exactly, this vendor I cant risk, esp. with the no-return policy.

If this was sold by DJI Direct, I would not hesitate at this price, even tho I just bought the older 1000 (from DJI Direct on Amazon ... store.dji.com USA is an OOS ghost town)
