He asked "how it runs" now "does it run". Switch ports are notorious for having horrible frame rates and long load times. Yes it might boot up and play the game, but is it a good experience?

Of course it runs on Switch (1), it's a Switch title. It also works on Switch 2 and you can optionally buy the Switch 2 upgrade pack (better resolution) for $10 on the Nintendo eStore

These kinds of games are very difficult to play on Nintendo systems without a keyboard and mouse. Much better on a PC.

I actually enjoyed playing it on handheld mode and didn't find it to have drawbacks to using a mouse. Touch screen functionality was a big plus

Not just better resolution on switch 2 version, but different map sizes. Switch 1 version limits to the small map sizes (no large or huge).

Overall, this game still isn't that fun, right? Heard the PC version was buggy and the new Civ switching wasn't great either

I put in over a hundred hours into the Nintendo Switch Civ VI port and i never had a problem. It's a grid based game so playing with a controller is actually pretty easy.
