Product Details:
  • Made of upgraded powerful UV LED bead, with high power of 10W and 1300mW radiant intensity. The 365nm Light is a real invisible uv light that is not dazzling. It doesn't look as bright as 395nm because it is invisible to human's eye. But, when it irradiates items containing fluorescent agents, security code or watermark, it will show obvious blue-violet light.
  • Built-in USB-C rechargeable battery (1h runtime, 1h charging time).

I don't know what real difference between the two models available, besides this listed one being 365nm and the other one they have as 395nm, the "color" differences being labeled "bluish" vs "violet" but the code works on both for those interested in either.

edit: I guess I could have just googled it before but here's the info for others that might need it lol...

"365nm vs. 395nm UV light: 365nm is deeper UV, appearing bluish-white, ideal for professional curing (resins, PCBs) and precise fluorescence (forensics, money checks) due to less visible light interference, while 395nm is closer to visible violet, great for general blacklight fun, atmosphere, and hobby curing but less effective for subtle detection and deeper work. Choose 365nm for accuracy and deep excitation, 395nm for visual effects and affordability"

I have both versions of this, they're pretty good. I like the form factor. The battery seems to drain quicker than some other similar size flashlights I have. I mostly use the 365nm, mainly for hunting down cat pee stains. The 395 has much more "spill" with areas glowing that aren't the target I'm looking for.

I found urine stains on my bathroom ceiling! After that revelation, all towels, toothbrushes and haircare products went in a box. I even cover the toilet tissue with a sheet of plastic now. Research shows that toilet water droplets can splash 6-9 feet away.

I'm in Arizona for the winter and have been wanting one of these for scanning for scorpions. Thanks!
