That's true, but most of the 12GB versions weren't on sale here. Maybe that one is also on sale? To be honest, I'm more worried about the OS updates being the limiting factor than the RAM.

ah man thats my issue. nasty sticker means its an instore model that has been on 100% battery and screen brightness on max for atleast a full year.

I grabbed one from the local Best Buy. It came in the original box with USB C cable, S pen. And the tablet is in good condition. No scratches or residues.

Picked up an excellent one at my local bestbuy. I opened it and it was missing the pen, had no cables, and the back scratched and dented. I returned it right away.

I checked one 3 days ago tab S9 fair condition and it was display unit super beat up scratch everywhere. I asked for discount they said no. Hard pass

Picked up mine in fair condition. It had shelf display stickers on it, it did come with pen and keyboard case to my surprise. Not seeing any damages but apparently it's no way can be called as openbox when it was lit 24x7 for three years in a row.
Need to figure out battery condition test.

Open Box Fair. Could be display model but I think it's a return.

Mine came with the expensive keyboard case. Had $125 of certs to burn. Ended up ~$150 OTD. Was missing S Pen and any charging cables.

Charges to 100% without issue.

Rooted and unlocked bootloader very quickly on OneUI 7 (android 15). Will update to OneUI 8 (Android 16) when I figure out how to keep the bootloader unlocked and rooted.

Performance has been solid and screen looks great. Very happy overall.
