Avoid. Requires a subscription and they change terms of service on the fly. They love spamming their trash here.

The previous generation FHD model was $15.99 on Amazon yesterday. Sold out but Best Buy now has an open box for $13.99.

I would not mess with these at any price again. I have used many many brands and Arlo is at the very bottom of the list. Poor image quality, battery life wildly inconsistent (my camera that was triggered once every two weeks battery died ever 6 weeks, the one that was on the garage and triggered multiple times a day lasted roughly 3x as long for example) and the app and notification speeds were terrible. Subscription was high for the minimal features, tons of false notifications and then blatant misses of things it should have recorded. Do not recommend.

I have settled on Tapo cameras now and for the price the quality is hard to beat. Accurate notifications, good app speeds, good quality, my models can all record 24/7, rtsp streaming for nvr use and no subscription required.

I have Arlo cams and regret it terribly.
