Don't fall for the "gaming" marketing gimmick. A cat5 cable wired to a standard 5 y.o. router will beat a WiFi connection.

Your right to a certain extent but no. I have the slightly lower model of this one 6E and Asus ROG everything mostly are amazing build quality and powerful and mesh so well easily, not everyone can run ethernet and this would work better on Ethernet than a standard router as you say with a cable. Peace
