Just my opinion, I wouldn't say it does't have full functionality without a subscription, as it's a fully functional camera that records clips, stores clips with sync module, has live view), it just doesn't have advanced features like cloud storage, smart detection and moments require subscription, which aren't features which make it fully functional.

Blink is garbage, especially without a subscription. It misses way too much. Using it without a subscription is a crapshoot whether the cameras will record. I just let my sub lapse because I wasn't happy with it to begin with, and they just raised the prices. Only 4/12 of my cameras actually save clips across 2 sync modules.
