Depends on the games and like Charlie said GPU. It might be better to consider a 9800x3d.

I still got it cheaper directly from the MSi US store for +$580 bundled with the MSi Carbon X870E for $350.

This upgrade plus a 4TB Gen5 Nvme should keep me happy with the current state of PC's. My 4090 still plenty.
