This. The ROG is easily the best monitor to own along with the MSI equivalent.

I'm wondering if I should have just gotten this one. I got the 32 curved alienware instead. I had tried a 27 inch 4k asus and it blew this alienware out of the water in picture quality. And I don't think just the higher PPI would be enough to do that. So i am not sure WHAT is going on. I still overall love the alienware for everyday browsing, though, and I have an issue where most monitors hurt my head and the alienware doesn't do it, but it's just odd that it doesn't look 4k for some reason. video doesn't look nice and crisp and detailed.

That curved Alienware is just off, it looks great gaming, but didn't work for me for work, returning one tomorrow...shame because I prefer 1000R curve at the 32" size. It is the only qd oled I've tried though and definitely strained my eyes more and text fringing was noticeable. The LG 32GX350A-B looks way better to me and didn't cause eyestrain, but the glossy screen I'm not a fan of with either, so I'm using a 32GX370A-B now, gaming it's perfect, but the matte finish is noticeable with light content, like webpages...but IS 1000x better reflection wise.
I would have tried Asus but their stands are ugly AF and wouldn't work with my desk setup...and I refuse to spend $1k on a monitor that requires an aftermarket stand.

I don't know what the deal is with mine. Very confusing because a ton of people say the picture quality is great. I guess I could calibrate it myself with my meters, but then it's depending on a profile because only extremely high dollar meters can accurately calibrate on their own. I wonder if I have some setting screwing it up.

FYI the MSI equivalent (MSI MPG 321URX) is currently on sale on Amazon for $750.

Asus - Glossy- Works like normal monitor.- usb C power delivery - almost perfectly calibrated out of the box Samsung - Matte display- has Samsung tizen smart features. - over statured an not calibrated.Personally it's the Asus and it's not close. But depends on what you value.

Did a great deal of research on both the rog and the urx. Both are great. Monitors unboxed calls urx almost as good as the rog with a lower price tag. For anyone who might be interested ^

This is the low bandwidth DP version. Get the R model if you have a 5080 or 5090 to avoid stream compression.
