(Big notes are not 2.1, no local dimming, and middling hdr brightness.) Keep in mind it is ~$800 difference to step up to the 2025 qm7k when it is on sale.

If budget is your main concern and you go in with reasonable expectations this size and this price could do it for you 💜

98 does have 2.1. Also keep in mind this 98" is 120hz and the rtings only tested the 60hz variant.

I would say the next step up would be the qm6K which is usually around $400 more.

I purchased this 98 during BF for $1150. It was an upgrade from a 75in budget LG. I'm really enjoying the TV and have no complaints.

I agree it's definitely budget minded. I decided to purchase other things with the $450 savings from the qm6K price during BF.

I think I'm going to hold out for the QM6K at the very least? There's also the Hisense Mini LED 100 inch but there's not much reviews for that particular size, I'd imagine it is not as good as the QM6K.

They make up the cost by spying on what you watch, even if the TV is hooked up to your PC or an HDMI streaming device. 😐 The attorney general down here in Texas ( who is a criminal himself ) is going after four TV brands for doing this.
