Ace's app offer is a small, targeted coupon that can unlock solid savings on regular priced hardware and household items, especially when paired with Ace Rewards. It has been used on items like BBQ seasoning, superglue, storage bins, clamps, safety glasses, and shovels, sometimes bringing a $10 item down to about a dollar or less. The main catch is the fine print, with many exclusions, no use on sale or clearance items, and occasional store specific or missing offers. A handy deal if your cart fits the restrictions.
DIY shoppers buying small regular-priced hardware items, because the $10 offer can drop low-cost essentials like tape, brushes, or storage bins to about a dollar.
Shoppers already planning an in-store pickup of a specific tool accessory, because the discount can stack with rewards and still leave a useful out-of-pocket total.
The offer has shown different expiration dates, including 12/24, 12/31, and January 30, 2026. One comment also says the coupon window can be as short as 4 days, so it's worth checking the expiration in your account.
The coupon excludes many categories, including rentals, services, gift cards, building materials, pet food, fuel, power tools/equipment, water heaters, and brands like YETI, Weber, Traeger, Toro, STIHL, EGO, Big Green Egg, and Benjamin Moore. It also cannot be used on sale or clearance items.
Download the Ace app and link your Ace Rewards account; the $10 bonus can appear in the app's Rewards/Offers area. Some accounts also see it on the website, but it may not show up for everyone right away.
Yes, it is valid for a single transaction online, in the Ace mobile app, or at participating Ace Hardware stores. It must be redeemed by an Ace Rewards member and can't be reused once applied.
It can be used with an Ace reward, and one comment notes it stacks with Ace Rewards while a cash-back site was also offering 10% at Ace. The coupon itself cannot be combined with other coupons beyond an Ace reward.
I can login to the website, but not the app. it gives error "something went wrong"

Checked my app and saw that I had $15 bonus. I bought a $9 item that I was going to buy today anyway along with three generic edger blades. Final price (w/tax) came to $3.79.
Does Ace actually fulfill your orders? Multiple times (esp when there are ACE rewards/coupons), I get my orders cancelled where they something was not available (or corporate shipped a wrong item). Recently, I ordered a garden item and threw in some candy as filler. The candy was ready for a couple of days, the garden item said ready for pick-up, the garden item got cancelled, and then the candy was cancelled. I called and they said a pan was sent instead. Something seems suspect.

Picked up my order today. All items were in the bag.
Shopping in my local Ace store last year, when checking out, the cashier got highly agitated.saying.."you know, you have 2 reward accounts!!"...I was like yah one for me and one for the wife's phone app. She said well which one do you want me to delete, you can only have ONE.. I just shook my head and said do what you want, paid and left.

The coupon can apply to regular-priced items online or in-store, enabling very low out-of-pocket totals.
The Ace app can reveal an additional $10 off $10 offer beyond the website view.
The $10 off $10 coupon can stack with Ace Rewards and a 10% cash-back site offer.
Some niche items like sharkbites can be competitively priced at Ace when using the deal.
The offer can be missing in the app's "Your Offers" section or may be targeted, so it may not appear for everyone.
The coupon has extensive exclusions and cannot be used on sale or clearance items.
Ace pricing can still be higher than other hardware stores even after applying the coupon.
The $10 offer may have a short usage window, and excluded items in the cart can prevent the discount from applying.

so coupon is worth ~$6.
A $10 OFF $10 coupon makes it pretty easy to find good deals, if you don't want to then don't.
got a 27 gallon storage bin that normally sells for $9 at homedepot for $1.09 after coupon and tax.
got some pipe joint compound and some pvc pipe fittings as filler for 17 cents after coupon and tax.
Lowes value $7.58
actually not bad. Things I could use.
without coupon, the Ace prices were a rip off. Joint compound 8.59 vs 5.78. .... costs 50% more at Ace.
storage bin $11 vs $9 at home depot. 22% more
Thanks OP.
