How can they put Olympic in the title and say it's for Olympic weights when it's a 1" bar? "Olympic" is 50mm/2inch, it's the designation that differentiates it from standard plates and bars at 25mm/1".
This is a budget 1 inch straight weightlifting bar that fits standard plates and is best for light to moderate home lifting. The 300 pound capacity is described as plenty for warmups and everyday use, and the bar has been loaded to 190 pounds without noticeable bowing. The 5 foot and 6 foot versions are listed at $4.99 with free shipping on Walmart plus or orders over $35. Caveats include a misleading Olympic label, possible order mix ups, and clip compatibility issues with some 1 inch collars. A cheap basic bar if you need standard sizing.
Home lifters using standard 1-inch plates, because the bar is a 1-inch diameter standard bar with a 300-pound capacity that suits warmups and moderate loads.
The listed capacity is 300 lb, which is enough for most home lifters and warmups. The Walmart max-load field appears to be a listing error, not the bar's real capacity.
These are standard 1" diameter bars, not Olympic 2" bars. Olympic bars use 50mm/2" sleeves and wider-hole plates, while these fit standard 1" plates and accessories.
Not always. One report says Marcy 1" clips did not fit these bars, so compatibility with existing standard collars can be an issue and may require different clips.
A 5' bar reportedly weighs about 19 lb and held 190 lb without noticeable bowing. The bar is thinner than a CAP bar, so it can feel harsher on the skin under load.
A 1" bar can work for a Total Gym that uses a 1" bar, but the 5' length is much longer than the 2' bar sold for that machine. Cutting it down is possible in theory, but you would still need clips.

Yeah I found that odd too. Thought about removing it from the deal post but wasn't sure if that was a thing so I made sure to add 1" to the title. I only have 2" plates/bars so my experience with the 1" stuff is limited to what I read around here.
Wow. Great price. I been wanting a weight bar for my total gym - uses a 1" bar but the one sold for the tg is only 2'. 5' is crazy long. Maybe i could cut it down. Still need clips

were you able to find clips for this? I got mine delivered yesterday and realized that the 1" clips I have (from Marcy) doesn't fit these!!

Not sure if you found some clips. I bought something like this since Walmart has so many deals on 2" plates. Works fine since I'm not lifting crazy weights at home by myself. https://a.co/d/0fi9Jmc5
The bar itself is fine. Weighs 19 pounds on it's own. Had 190 lbs on it and didn't notice any bowing. Can't go any higher cause I ran out of plates. Its definitely thinner than the cap bar I have so it digs in the skin a little more. Didn't measure it, but it's probably closer to a 0.75" bar.

The bars can support warmup work with the listed 300 lb capacity.
The 1-inch diameter bars vary in weight by length, so checking the specifications tab can help match your setup.
The bar can hold 190 lb without noticeable bowing during home use.
The deal listing includes free shipping options through Walmart+ or $35+ orders, which can reduce total checkout cost.
The listing capacity information may be confusing because some listings appear to treat max load as item weight.
The title and "Olympic" wording may be misleading since the bar is described as 1-inch rather than Olympic 50mm/2-inch equipment.
An order mix-up can occur where 5-foot bars are replaced with 7-foot bars.
1-inch clips may not fit these bars when using existing collars or clips from other brands.
