Even does facial recognition, reads license plates (hook it up to home assistant ( also open source: https://www.home-assistant.io/) and have your garage door open by itself when you drive into your driveway). Store as much video as disk space you have. All for free. No subscriptions. Lots more features.

Get a camera that puts out an rstp stream (like the cheapo, $15 Tapo C100), put it on a VLAN that is isolated/has no Internet access, and run your own, free, open source, frigate server.
