Maybe workpro is a brand name of high caliber, but I don't really know.

I bought these a few months back. They are really nice. I had been searching for slip-joint needle nose pliers, but could only find them from Snap-On at $70. $11 is a bargain!

I have these. They're smaller and about half the quality of the icon ones. They're worth about what you're paying.

Wouldn't they rust easily?

Compared to the snap on and icon both of which I have for more precision and delicate work I always reach for these.
They are strong and precise but also just the right size for precision.
The others are gears bolts like towards larger car maintenance.

Everything on the boat rusts all day, every day. Tool box gets a heavy dose of silicone spray and oil to defend it best we can but all tools rust hence we do cheap ones a lot.

Right. But some things are more rust resistance then others. These goes in the water one day, the next day they would be rusted. I made a mistake taking a pliers out to the water because I was in a rush and it's useless now.

How do these compare with the other HF brand like Quinns or Doyles?

What is with this brand? Always getting posted. No one ever says anything good about it. What's the deal? Are the decent quality? Good value?

Just got mine and they are really nice for the price. They're made in China and not finished as nice as the Taiwanese ICONs from HFT, but for $11 they're a damn good deal. Also, you probably see a lot of WorkPro posts because the brand is owned by GreatStar of China, which is a huge tool company... so they make a lot of good quality tools that are relatively inexpensive.
