Charmin Ultra Soft Mega XL rolls are the core of a strong Walgreens stack, with the $20 Walgreens Cash and $15 P and G rebate making the effective price much lower. The deal can also be padded with Bounty to hit the rebate minimum, and the Walgreens Cash has shown up on digital receipts and in accounts after checkout. Shipping has been fast when orders go through, and the rebate card has been confirmed for arrival in 6 to 8 weeks. The main friction is stock and coupon handling, with cancellations, partial fills, and occasional reward display errors. Ultra Strong does not fit the same coupon setup, so the Ultra Soft version is the cleaner path.
shoppers who are comfortable submitting the P&G rebate online and waiting for the physical card because commenters said they received a confirmation email and then a physical card in the mail multiple times after submitting directly from the P&G site.
coupon clippers who are trying to hit the P&G rebate minimum and can add other eligible items (like Bounty paper towels) because commenters said you can add Bounty to reach the $50 minimum if you don't need the full toilet paper quantity.
people who want to use Walgreens Cash and still complete the deal steps because commenters reported the Walgreens Cash/rewards show on the Walgreens digital receipt and that the $20 Walgreens Cash can still be earned even after using gift cards toward the purchase minimum.
buyers who are okay re-checking order status and resolving fulfillment quirks because commenters said their order shipped extremely quickly and that pickup fulfillment sometimes required calling, but the store ultimately provided the rolls and the deal worked out.
deal-tuners who may need to correct coupon selection because commenters said they accidentally clipped the wrong $1 coupon but were able to get it removed, and others described workarounds to reach the rebate threshold using additional coupons/items.
buyers who want a smooth, guaranteed checkout because commenters described order cancellations/out-of-stock issues and confusing totals/estimated totals across screens that made the process unreliable.
deal participants who are unsure about how gift cards and rewards payments count toward minimums because commenters raised uncertainty about whether gift cards count toward the $40/$50 minimums and whether using the wrong type of card (e.g., Visa vs Walgreens gift card) could break the rebate math.
shoppers who can't tolerate rebate risk or delays because commenters reported P&G rebates not being fulfilled even after proper submission (including cases where they couldn't track the rebate and later ones never arrived).
people who rely on exact pack counts for rewards/rebate eligibility because commenters said Walgreens sometimes filled only 2 of 3 packs, which caused the $3 coupon to disappear and disqualified the P&G rebate.
shoppers who are expecting Walgreens Cash to always display correctly before ordering because commenters said their account only showed about $10 cash back (instead of the expected ~$20) and they had to place the order on a different account to make it work.
people who need the deal to work on Ultra Strong toilet paper because commenters said the deal structure only works on Ultra Soft and Ultra Strong doesn't have the $3 off coupon.

Also, indeed it gave me the $20 walgreens cash even though I used $30 in gift cards towards the purchase.
So yes you can pay with gfift cards and it still go towards the minimum. i bet the dumb AI search thought I meant could you buy gift cards towards the minimum spend...
Now just too bad I already did the rebate before or this would have been an extra good deal. As it is, I used $35 they gave me from the last deals sp spent $15 cash to get all that tpilet paper and $20 rewards.
