I know walgreens doesn't count the portion paid for with rewards towards the $40 spend, but do they count walgreens gift card toward it or the whole thing has to be cash?

I somehow accidentally got a $15 walgreens gift card instead of $15 visa... Also I already did this current rebate so sadly couldn't do that again, but could do the rest of it...

edit: searches say that if yuo pay with a gift card it deosn't count towards minimums. However, when I enter my walgreens gc number it then says estimated cash rewards $20.33. Has anyone paid with a gc to now for sure it gives the rewards? Maybe I should screen shot it and then I can pay with that gc, my visa gc, a little bit of rewards and still get the $20 back.

So basically if I do this deal I am spending $35 cash after tax and $20 walgreens money to get the tp and $20 walgreens money right back. Too bad I can't do the rebate part again, though.

If I can't split credit cards I guess I can't use the visa... Unless I buy another walgreens gc. And even then I wonder if the visa will work online or if I have to tell them my address officially for the card.

What a joke. After all of my trouble buying a $15 walgreens gc with one of my past p&g visa cards, typing in 2 gc numbers and a cc number, clipping a coupon, putting in the code, etc... and placing the order, it gets CANCELED and claims the item is out of stock even though I set it to standard shipping and it still claims on the site it's in stock for shipping.

So now all I accomplished was converting a $15 card I could use anywhere into it being forced to be used at walgreens...

I will try it again another day, but I bet they have plenty and they are not liking so many people doing this combination of deals on it so magically it's out of stock.

And all they do is give a 10% off next order coupon, like that is worth a thing when every day they have a sitewide 15% or 20% off one.

This is the most confusing store ever. On most pages it says the total after discounts and tax and $5 rewards used on it is $50.57. Yet in other places it says estimated total $58.57. And in yet ANOTHER place it says total $53.37. And so far me resubmitting the order hasn't canceled it,... the same day the other canceled and claimed out of stock when it says in stock for shipping.

I ordered three packs, but the store shipped only two. I had to contact them to resolve the missing pack, which ended up affecting my rewards and rebates.
