Dewalt really needs to update this tool to a new model. It is very old and brushed still. It is pretty weak even for being a right angle drill. Still great to have jus because of the tool it is so i would never give it up and buy it again at this price if i needed it. Paired with a 1.7 powerstack is best. I am a steel worker and with drilling steel alot of times the bit likes to get caught towards the end of the break through and you gotta go at it a couple times and then sometimes when you break through the bit snags again and then you try to reverse the drill and it doesnt have enough torque and will jus keep clutching out and you jus gotta keep trying and eventually get it to free up.

Serious question; I'm in the Dewalt ecosystem and have a couple of standard drills. What use case needs a right-angle drill?

I use my right angle typically in tight areas such as between studs , between floor joists, etc. I've also used it to drill up from the basement or down from the attic into the top or bottom plate.
