Tested it on a spray painted surface. It seemed to work so I put a bunch of frames up. I used more strips than necessary to be safe.

Ten years later, frames started falling off the wall and busting so I took the rest down.

Other smooth surfaces (even including spray painted) will probably be fine, but ours was kinda finely textured and likely not a great surface to adhere to.

These things are awesome when they work.

These things are awesome when they work.
I think they're only expected to last a few years... like 4-5 maybe? All of ours have failed in that range with the Velcro strips separating from the adhesive strips.
