For consideration: my Child grew out of a bike like this quickly. Look for a bike with a height adjustable seat to accommodate their growth.

The wheels on this are extremely wide - keeping the child from having to learn to balance.

And as someone already mentioned, it doesn't adjust much as the child grows. It's intended for kids 1-3.

With an actual balance bike, the child learns to balance the bike, and most kids will make the transition to a real bike quite easily (i.e., no "training wheels" needed.

This is good for really little kids to get them used to sitting and pushing, after that move to a real balance bike, then onto an actual bike with little to no tears when learning, not tricylce ever needed. Difference between the first kid we taught without this and the last we did with was night and day.
